สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี หรือเกาหลีใต้เป็นหนึ่งในประเทศคู่ค้าที่สำคัญของไทย ในการส่งออกผลผลิตทางการเกษตรและผลิตภัณฑ์อาหาร โดยในปี 2564 ที่ผ่านมา ประเทศไทยส่งออกสินค้าเกษตรไปยังเกาหลีใต้มูลค่ากว่า 143 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐฯ หรือขยายตัวร้อยละ 17 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับปี 2563 ซึ่งมาตรการควบคุมและกฎระเบียบที่เข้มงวดในการนำเข้าของเกาหลีใต้นั้น ถูกกำหนดขึ้นมาเพื่อความปลอดภัยอาหาร ปกป้องสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งพืช และสัตว์ รวมถึงป้องกันผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการควบคุมความปลอดภัยอาหารนำเข้า ประกอบด้วย 4 ด้าน ดังต่อไปนี้
1.กฎหมายสุขอนามัยอาหาร
2.กฎหมายว่าด้วยการติดฉลาก และการโฆษณาอาหาร
3.กฎหมายคุ้มครองพืชและป้องกันโรคระบาดสัตว์
4.กฎหมายพิเศษด้านการควบคุมความปลอดภัยอาหารนำเข้า
The Republic of Korea or South Korea is the main trading partner of Thailand for agricultural and food products export. In 2021, Thailand exported agricultural products to South Korea for more than 143 million USD or increased by 17% compared to 2020. The strict control and regulations import was determined for food safety, protecting living things both plants and animals as well as preventing environmental impacts. The regulation related to food safety control is divided into 4 aspects as follows:
1.Food Sanitation Act
2.Act on the Labeling and Advertising of Food
3.Plant Protection Act and Act on the Prevention of Contagious Animal Disease
4.Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control
