                                                                           The Empro range of Emsland Group stands for high nutritional,
                                                                                   ®
                                                                        low allergic & non GMO Pea protein isolates as valuable ingredient
                                                                        for the food industry. The peas are sourced from the EU. As Protein
                                                                        isolates the protein level is > 84%. This allows the use as functional
                                                                        ingredient as well as protein source for food protein fortification.
                                                                        The existing Empro  proteins are already used for wet extruded as
                                                                                       ®
                                                                        well as for dry products like snacks or TVP. Also instant drinks are
                                                                        fortified with these proteins.
                                                                           Now Emsland Group is able to provide new Protein isolate types
                                                                        for the food market. This two new products closing the gap to wet
                                                                        application (Empro  E 86 F30) and the low sodium demand for
                                                                                       ®
                                                                        healthier nutritional values (Empro  E 86 LS) .

                                                                           Empro  E 86 F30 type is a new pea protein isolate type with an
                                                                                ®
                                                                        optimized particle size, high solubility and provides a very smooth
                                                                        mouthfeel with a neutral taste profile. It´s especially designed for
                                                                        food application like beverages, ice cream, desserts and others.
                                                                           Empro  E 86 LS is low in sodium and contributes with this sodium
                                                                                ®
                                                                        level to healthier nutritional aspects beside the plant based source
                                                                        of protein. In particular the structure and properties of the LS version
                                                                        will make it very suitable for extruded products. Due to the larger
                                                                        particle size a better process capability during extrusion is achieved.
                                                                           This two new Empro  types will help to expand the range of
                                                                                           ®
                                                                        plant protein based food to more application fields, which were
                                                                        limited before.
