touchpoints. One of the platforms in which this is done is through the
Newtrition™AsiaResearchGrant. Into its4th year, thegrantwasestablished
to recognize and support thework of scientists in theAsia Pacific region
that are advancing human nutrition studies. This is also a collaboration
betweenBASF, researchers aswell as foodandbeveragemanufacturers
to come together to investigate and gather first-hand findings in new
research areas. This year’s topic “Plant Sterols, Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Efficacy in Preventative Health” explores new research areas that could
have significant impact on consumer well-being. Five researchers have
beenawardedgrants thisyear for their innovativeproposalsmost relevant
tohealth concerns among consumers in theAsiaPacific region.

“ในปี 2559 มกอช. ได้มี แผนจัดท�ำมาตรฐานสิ นค้ าเกษตรที่ตรงกั บ
ความต้องการของเกษตรกรมากยิ่ งขึ้น มุ ่งให้สามารถน�ำไปใช้ประโยชน์ ได้จริง
โดยตั้ งเป้าจัดท�ำมาตรฐานเพิ่มเติมจากเดิมที่ได้ประกาศใช้มาตรฐานทั่วไปแล้ว
จ�ำนวน 250 เรื่ อง ทั้งในเรื่องมาตรฐานสิ นค้า มาตรฐานระบบการผลิต และ
มาตรฐานข้อก�ำหนดทั่วไป พร้อมประกาศบั งคับใช้มาตรฐานบังคับ 2 เรื่อง และ
จัดท�ำมาตรฐานบังคั บเพิ่มอีก 1 เรื่อง นอกจากนี้ยังได้ส่งเสริมมาตรฐานสินค้า
เกษตรในกลุ่มเกษตรกรและในพื้ นที่เกษตรแปลงใหญ่ การเร่งรัดการเจรจาเรื่ อง
ที่เป็ นปัญหาอุปสรรคในด้านสินค้าเกษตรและอาหาร เพื่ อเปิดตลาดและขยาย
การค้าให้มากยิ่ งขึ้น ตลอดจนการพัฒนาและสร้ างมูลค่าเพิ่ มให้กับสินค้ าเกษตร
อาทิ การใช้ QR Code การปรับปรุงระบบ Early warning ด้านกฎระเบียบคู่ ค้า
รวมทั้งการเพิ่ มหน่วยตรวจรับรองต่ างๆและห้องปฏิบัติการตรวจสอบสินค้าเกษตร
และอาหารที่ได้ มาตรฐานสากล เพื่อสนับสนุนถ่ายโอนภารกิจการตรวจสอบสินค้า
เกษตรและอาหารสู่ภาคเอกชนมากยิ่ งขึ้นด้วย” นางสาวดุจเดือน ศศะนาวิน

“มาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรเพื่อโอกาสทางการค้าและอนาคตเกษตรไทย”รวมทั้งมีพิธี
มอบโล่รางวัลระบบมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารปลอดภั ย โดยมีหน่ วยงาน
ต่างๆ ร่ วมแสดงความยินดี

of Thai’sAgriculture” exhibition to celebrate safetyagricultural products
and food safety systems.

นักวิทยาศาสตร์ในภูมิ ภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิกที่ศึ กษาในเรื่องการพัฒนาสารอาหาร โดย
ทุนดังกล่าวเป็นความร่วมมื อระหว่างBASFนักวิจัยและกลุ ่มผู้ผลิ ตอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม
ที่เข้ามามีบทบาทในการตรวจสอบและรวบรวมงานวิจัยที่ ไม่เคยมีมาก่อน โดยในปีนี้
ทุนนิวทริชัน เอเชีย รี เสิร์ช มีหัวข้อการวิจัยในเรื่อง “Plant Sterols, Omega-3 Fatty
