of the total food seasoning products exports from Thailand. While the export value
to the other countries was worth 130 million USD, rising by 11%, and accounting for
44% of Thailand’s total food seasoning products exports.
Today, 16 FTA countries that suspended tariffs on imported food seasonings from
Thailand as part of the FTA agreements include Australia, New Zealand, China,
India, Hong Kong, Chile, and Peru. The other two FTA countries, South Korea and
Japan, have granted tariff reduction to exports of food seasoning products from
Thailand, while maintaining import duties on some food seasoning products. The
exemption and reduction create export opportunities and empower Thai entrepreneurs
to expand their businesses in international markets.
