(Good Manufacturing Practice for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables)

Fresh fruits and vegetables (FFVs) are very important to human health as well as national economy. The Food
and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommend
a daily intake of 400-600 grams of FFVs, which can help reduce risks of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
However, contamination of FFVs by pesticide residues is currently a major concern in Thailand because the
amount occasionally found in many samples exceeds the acceptable level.

In order to improve the control system and ensure the quality Food Act 2014
