exporters are the United States of America,
Germany,Brazil, theNetherlandsandFrance
with 11.40, 5.95, 5.87, 5.71 and 5.35
percentages of market shares respectively.
For Thailand, the food exporting value
forecast for theyear2015 is1,080,000million
baht with a 5.4 percentage growth. Products
with growth potentials are Chicken with 11.2
percent growth - Shrimp with 19.7 percent
growthmarkingThailand tobe4

ofglobalexporters.Moreover,Cassavastarch
and Canned tuna with 4.5 and 0.8 percent
growth respectivelymarkingbothas1

of global exporters. Lastly, the Seasoning
productswith 7 percent growth, ranking 6

food exports from Thailand. These figures
confirm that Thailand has great potential
especially regarding rawmaterialswhichcould
bevalueaddedandprocessed inmanyways.
As a matter of fact, we must admit that the
foodprocessing industryhasbeengenerating
great amount of income to the country.
Nevertheless, with continuous innovation and new
technologies that could enhance the value adding
process would facilitate and as well as drive the food
products up to the next level.
