Digital technology - Industry 4.0 is
revolutionizing many aspects of the world
we live in today. One of the key elements
of Industry 4.0 is the integration of factory
equipment, systems and processes to
increase production efficiency and widen the
range of products and technologies to choose
from. Owners have to decide for suitable
technologies. More importantly, efficient labor
and time costs must be presented. It is a
comprehensive analysis aiming at customer’s
benefits.

Multiple automated manufacturing processes often
evolve in silos, but the Internet of Things (IoT) demands
that these systems communicate together and with plant-
wide control systems and connect all parts of the factory Red indicates that the machine is in abnormal state

field as well as users and service team. Users will have an
application that shows the status on devices such as mobile
phone, tablet, and notebook, allowing them to check the
equipment efficiency, warning messages, and hours left for
next consumable change. The field engineer, on the other
hand, will see the information from the same platform. Users,
company, and field engineer will receive the same
information, thus resulting in speed and transparency of the
data.
As mentioned above, we categorize users into 3 levels;
• Admin – overall monitoring of status through
webpages and editing/adjusting of parameter settings 2
through the web
• Manager – browsing webpages to evaluate overall
operation/efficiency in every factory
