KidswithAllergies
One of the most talked-about solutions for these allergy
problems in kids or babies is related to eating Plant-based,
Whole food (PBWF) produce, which is a dietary lifestyle that
focuseson the intakeofplant-based foods thatarenotextracted,
unpolished or unprocessed and minimizes the intake of
processed and animal-derived foods.
There are many ways a parent can get started in feeding
their kidsPBWF foods, and this canbedoneevenwhileat the
baby stages. Apart from potentially preventing allergies and
making your babyhealthier in the long term, it alsomakes your
kidsmore active and smart.

Allergies
To follow a PBWF diet means to reduce the
consumption of foods that trigger allergies including meat,
seafood, processed food and eggs. Therefore, kidswho follow
aPBWFdietwill have fewerproblemsacrossbothallergiesand

Whenyour
babies turn six months old, you can start feeding them with
PBWF foods because as this food group contains far fewer
allergens thancommon food. For example, youmay feed them
with brown rice porridge or you may try adding some colorful
vegetablesor fruitssuchasbananas,carrotsandpumpkins into
your brown rice porridge for greater nutritional value.

Although PBWF diet offers many health benefits, parents may be still
concerned on the risks of nutrient deficits for their kids. However, a PBWF
dietdoesnotmean thecomplete removal ofmeat fromyourkidorbaby’sdiet,
but, rather it is away to focus on the intake of plant- based foodswhich are
notextracted,unpolishedorunprocessedandminimize the intakeofprocessed
andmeats. Moreover, PBWF is not a diet of only green leafy vegetables, it
also includes various kinds of vegetables and grains. If you feed your kids
with various kinds of vegetables and grains, they will get all nutrient types.
For example, proteins from peas, beans, lentils; carbohydrates fromwhole
grains, especially brown rice, and fat from avocados, nuts and seeds.
