6.4 Other forms of food additives
other than (6.1)– (6.3),bynetweight
Month and year of manufacturing,
or month and year of expiration
shall be declared by having text of
“Manufactured … (specify month
and year)” or “Expired … (specify
month and year)”, or other similar
statement appeared together. For
food additives with shelf-life less
than18months, expirydateshall be
declared by having text of “Expired
… (specifymonthandyear)”orother
similar statement appeared together
suchas “Useby (specifymonthand
year)”. However, months can be
declared either numbers or letters.

8.1 FoodAdditives: declare the name of

cases,noneed todeclaredpercentageof
foodadditiveon the label or inmanual or
the documents relating to the sale.
(1)Themanufacturesor importersof
food additives to use for their own food
product (or the same trademark of such
manufactures or importers); or
(2)Themanufacturesor importersof
foodadditives for sale to foodprocessors
with agreement to provide information of
percentage of such food additives

of other ingredients listed in descending
order. In thecaseofflavorings,spicesand
herbs shall be declared as prescribed.
